Hannah completed her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 2018. Hannah is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor [LCMHC #14655] approved by the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors, NCBLCMHC. She is a Therapist • Professional Overthinker Wrangler • Holder of Safe Space Vibes
Hannah has experience in working with preteens (12+), adolescents, and adults who experience emotional distress related to anxiety, depression, identity concerns, developmental transitions, relationship chaos, boundary setting, spirituality, difficulties adjusting to life stressors, and that existential “What am I doing with my whole entire life?” dread. Hannah is LGBT+ affirming and specializes in working with individuals who are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD. She enjoys working with individuals who are neurodivergent seeking help managing day to day life in neurotypical environments.
Hannah is warm, real, and lightly chaotic in a therapeutic way. Just think: grounded clinician meets the friend who reminds you to drink water but won’t judge your iced coffee addiction. What you can expect from her is zero judgement, evidenced-based practices, humor as a coping skill, no stiff clinical robot energy, and a vibe that feels like a cozy mental health nook. She believes that you can talk about deep trauma and still laugh at the absurdity of being a human in today’s world. Both can coexist. Evidence-based practices Hannah draws from are Person-Centered Counseling, Cognitive-Behavioral Counseling, Psychodynamic Counseling, and other integrative approaches through an anti-pathology, trauma-informed lens in order to meet the needs of her clients. She believes it is important to foster a trusting relationship where she can collaborate with her clients on making meaning of their thoughts, emotions, and life challenges. Hannah views her clients as the expert in their own lives and strives to work collaboratively with them in order to gain a deeper understanding of their emotional patterns as well as reach their therapeutic goals. She believes that therapy isn’t about “fixing” you, but rather supporting you in unraveling your story and making meaning of it. Your lore is safe with her.
When Hannah isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and their dogs. She enjoys traveling, playing video games, listening to music, singing, spending time with her loved ones, being outdoors, working out, baking, watching anything comedic, or engaging in whatever her next hyper-fixation may be. If her energy feels right, reach out for a consultation at 336.285.0480. She would love to help you build a life that feels more “you” and less “constant existential side quest”.
Hannah is currently on a Waitlist for new clients.
