Managing Anxiety as a Freshman Webinar
Rachel Jones is a licensed clinical mental health therapist certified in Perinatal Mental Health. She is passionate about supporting women as they transition into motherhood. She walks alongside her clients throughout the perinatal journey, helping them prepare for this new chapter, navigate the emotional ups and downs, and learn how to honor their own needs while caring for others. Rachel’s goal is to help clients not just get through this season, but truly feel grounded and confident within the ever changing world of parenthood and postpartum life.
Rachel also enjoys working with individuals in emerging adulthood, a time often filled with both excitement and uncertainty. She supports clients navigating anxiety and major life transitions, such as balancing responsibilities, adjusting to living independently or being at college, developing a sense of self, and planning for the future. Together, Rachel and her clients explore what it means to “adult” in a way that feels authentic and aligned with who they are.
Rachel believes therapy works best as a collaborative process. She partners with her clients to help them reach their goals, using a holistic approach that draws from solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral, and interpersonal therapies.
She values creating a space where clients feel comfortable bringing both big challenges and everyday stressors. Whether someone is navigating a major life transition or simply needs a place to process and be heard, Rachel is there to support them with compassion and curiosity.
Rachel earned her Master’s in Counseling from Wake Forest University and holds a certification in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International.
